Interview with Joseph Mulak – author of Wounds His awesome story can be found in the anthology: Masters of Horror E-version (many formats) Print Where did you come up with your anthology idea? I’m not really sure. I initially had come up with an idea for a story intended for an anthology called APPALACHIAN HOLIDAY HAUNTINGS. Mainly, the story had to set around Christmas and be in the Appalachians. In an attempt to be different from everyone else who submitted stories, I set mine in Canada. I figured everyone else would set their stories in the Appalachian states. It seems many people don’t realize the Appalachians also run through Canada. Part two of chapter one for your enjoyment. ‘Receive,’ she said. Ami’s face appeared. She was smiling. Her black hair curled around her shoulders, and her dark eyes twinkled with excitement. The Birth of a New Zealand Writers’ Association
SpecFic in NZ is pretty much dead. The only decent link was 9 years dead. Most of us kiwis running around looking for groups / communities, end up forming relationships with overseas groups, which is fantastic. But doesn’t little ol’ NZ need it’s own SpecFic zone? It sure does. SpecFicNZ is alive and growing. It is not released yet but we are looking for a few good kiwis interesting in joining the core group and helping us build up for a 2010 release.
