Two New Reviews for The Last Church

These reviews will soon end up on the website, but for now, enjoy them here. Lee Pletzers novel ‘The Last Church’ is a fine balance of just enough horror to satisfy those who love a bit of gore, and not too much to scare off those who don’t. Add in a realistic future setting, and a twist I haven’t seen before on the Devil’s attempts to lure man to his side and you’ll find a fast paced novel that keeps you wanting to read on. You’ll also find an interesting array of characters who interplay nicely, coming together in an ending that was both satisfying and unexpected. Lee certainly knows how to spin a good yarn. I have a review blog at blogger http://writer113-reviews.blogspot.com/ I am thinking it would be nice to have a small blogging community of reviewers. It is the information age after all and blogs are far from dead. Reviews are a way to get community views and thoughts. How often have you gone to a movie and thought you’d sue Hollywood for wasting your time. 2 hours of your life gone, never to return. You open a book, it’s slow (re: The Ruins by Scott Smith), but you decide to give the writer a hundred pages to catch your interest. 100 pages later and you are struggling to continue reading, your eyes are drooping and sleep is calling — yet it is the middle of the day.
