A Nefarious Mind
James Dennett, a photographer trying to pave his way into the mainstream, gets his big break when a photography magazine requires his services. While he was shooting, his ears picked up the sound of innocent lovemaking in the darkness. As he took the pictures of the unknown couple, the muffled moans abruptly stopped and he found himself face to face with a beast with a hunger for blood. This is not the basic story of wolf … Read entire article »

Lee on TV?
Was very tired from work last week, that I decided to sleep in. Ami got up and surfed the net, but she too fell asleep (tired couple). I wasted the morning away with a lovely dream, of which, I can’t remember. This afternoon, dragging myself from bed, I jumped on the net as I was offline last night (Unmarried Gary, RAW, Supernatural, Californication) and needed to check my email (this is how tired I was, I couldn’t even check my email). So, before heading off to see “Penhalm 123″, which is a good movie and worth the price of a ticket, I checked gmail then yahoo and was surprised to find this: Shea O’Neill here from Sticky Pictures. We’re currently working on the fourth series of The Gravy a television … Read entire article »

Blurb and available
Here’s the blurb for The Last Church (PS: Amazon now has several copies, grab one quick): The future is not a utopia. In a world run by one president; a world on the brink of WW4, in an age sparking the end of Christianity, one group of archaeology students will face the greatest terror known. They will battle, not only for their souls but the souls of humanity. It won’t be easy though, as the devil is coming … Read entire article »

Editing The Armageddon Shadow
Editing Editing Editing Editing Editing Editing Editing Editing Know what I mean? The Armageddon Shadow is half completed and I have edited away 6,000 words, so novel is now down to 100,000 words but I am aiming for 95,000 as a final word count. The book has been through so many edits, it’s just not funny. This beast started at 132,000 words and contained two unneeded story lines, and yes they did tie in together at the end, but I figured they weren’t really needed and too many characters could be distracting. I sure didn’t want to put an Appendix in the back listing characters and background LOL. Oh well, back to the grind. My short story writing is taking a break so I can complete the editing of this novel and then I will look at … Read entire article »

free novel and a novel approach
This is the web address where I am placing a book online for the world to read for free. http://lee-pletzers.livejournal.com/859.html It’s a lovely werewolf tale and deals with how fragile the mind really is. What I would like to do is something a friend of mine is also doing. I would like to post a novel for your enjoyment and each section will get updated judging by how many friends / readers join this blog. The book I would like to blog is horror / fantasy / action Bloodline, Book One: A Nefarious Mind James Dennett, a photographer trying to pave his way into the mainstream, only to receive a hand full of rejections. He finally gets his big break when he receives a letter from a photography magazine requiring his services. The job … Read entire article »

The Last Church hold up + updates
Hi all, my book The Last Church won’t be released this August, instead it will come out in September. Apparently my corrected proof is flying around in cyberspace, never having reached the publisher last July 11th. Bugger. Well all good things take time, and The Last Church is a really good thing. On the writing front I’ve had three short stories accepted in a past 2 weeks and I just finished writing another short: The Zombie Virus. Zombies in space. Yea-ha! Still working on cutting 6000 words from my book: The Armageddon Shadow (thanks for the title Unoshato). It’s coming along. Things to do: 1) write review of ONE by Conrad Williams 2) rewrite and edit zombie story ASAP 3) edit book 4) read and review Time Out 5) work on Genesis 2.0 6) write Mummy short … Read entire article »

The Last Church-CH 3
Here’s chapter three, it’s a little shorter than the others, but it is one of the main chapters. Chapter Three Area City 2368 Professor Cotter was a large man. He filled every inch of the soft cushioned chair he sat in. He had a thick white beard and curly silver-white hair. Gray bags hung from his eyelids due to lack of sleep. His net visor was down and he looked busy typing away on the holographic keyboard. He didn’t like the new system of projecting thoughts onto the screen and sending that as mail and there was always the fear of someone tapping into his brain like those poor girls who’d been mind raped recently. He felt mildly sorry for their foolishness. Why on earth would someone want to be connected to the net … Read entire article »
