Lee on TV?

Was very tired from work last week, that I decided to sleep in. Ami got up and surfed the net, but she too fell asleep (tired couple). I wasted the morning away with a lovely dream, of which, I can’t remember. This afternoon, dragging myself from bed, I jumped on the net as I was offline last night (Unmarried Gary, RAW, Supernatural, Californication) and needed to check my email (this is how tired I was, I couldn’t even check my email). So, before heading off to see “Penhalm 123″, which is a good movie and worth the price of a ticket, I checked gmail then yahoo and was surprised to find this: Shea O’Neill here from Sticky Pictures. We’re currently working on the fourth series of The Gravy a television … Read entire article »

Blurb and available

Here’s the blurb for The Last Church (PS: Amazon now has several copies, grab one quick): The future is not a utopia. In a world run by one president; a world on the brink of WW4, in an age sparking the end of Christianity, one group of archaeology students will face the greatest terror known. They will battle, not only for their souls but the souls of humanity. It won’t be easy though, as the devil is coming … Read entire article »

Decisions

Decisions

These can be quite tricky. Some decisions can change the course of your life. You can learn things from decisions you make in your everyday life. For example: Should I buy Lee’s book, The Last Church, which I know will be a fantastic read… OR Should I buy Dan Brown’s latest book, The Lost Symbol, which sounds like more of the same from The Da Vinci Code? The decision is simple. Read something completely new. Throw yourself out of your … Read entire article »

God Denied

A flash story for you. Enjoy. 357 words. Feel free to link to this story if you like it, but please do not copy it. God Denied (c) Lee Pletzers 2006 His knees hurt but he refused to rise. The wooden pallet he knelt on was rough wood and a few frayed splinters had punctured his skin, pressing deeply into the flesh. There was wetness around and on his knees. He knew it was blood, but he needed to pray, and suffering was a part of it. He was God’s servant and on bended knee, he would serve. High above him, in his private study, hung a large cross with the effigy of Christ nailed to it. Gerald gazed into those wondrous, all-knowing sad blue eyes for hours, seeking answers to his questions. His life changed … Read entire article »

The Last Church-CH 3

Here’s chapter three, it’s a little shorter than the others, but it is one of the main chapters. Chapter Three Area City 2368 Professor Cotter was a large man. He filled every inch of the soft cushioned chair he sat in. He had a thick white beard and curly silver-white hair. Gray bags hung from his eyelids due to lack of sleep. His net visor was down and he looked busy typing away on the holographic keyboard. He didn’t like the new system of projecting thoughts onto the screen and sending that as mail and there was always the fear of someone tapping into his brain like those poor girls who’d been mind raped recently. He felt mildly sorry for their foolishness. Why on earth would someone want to be connected to the net … Read entire article »

The Last Church Ch1 2/2

Part two of chapter one for your enjoyment. ‘Receive,’ she said. Ami’s face appeared. She was smiling. Her black hair curled around her shoulders, and her dark eyes twinkled with excitement. It was a full body shot showing her wearing black tights and a white business-like shirt on top of another tee shirt. The business shirt was opened to the third button. ‘Dressed for the occasion, huh doll?’ ‘I feel comfortable in these clothes. You of all people should know. Rachael, are you going like that –- in your birthday suit?’ Ami laughed, old expressions were a favourite game the two of them played. Often the team members had no idea what they were talking about, and the two girls liked the mystery of it. They liked to be looked at, especially when those … Read entire article »
